Spend time with your Tejas Trails family, then retire to a super-cool accommodation, a warm shower and a comfortable bed, with your favorite pre-race and post-race food and drinks in your kitchen’s fridge, ready to grab whenever you need them.
Wake up ready to run, with no need to stress over getting to the race start in time, just minutes from your cabin. Your support staff can come and go as they please, resting poolside, or on the front porch of your cabin between check-point times.

Runner's Specials
We love our runners, and offer you, your families, and support people the following specials to choose from:
- Up to 4 guests stay in a Private Cabin for the price of 2 guests. ($320.00 total per night, with a 2-night minimum. A savings of up to $115.00 per person.)
- Bringing the family? All kids under 18 years stay free! (A savings $62.00 per child per night!) They can take a trail ride while you’re running!
- Our sweetheart of a deal! 2 guests stay for the price of 1, in a Duplex Suite, ($170.00 per night!) (A savings of $160.00 per person!)
- Flying in solo? Reserve your own single Suite, and take $50 per night off of our regular rate of $170.00 (A savings of $100.00)
- Taking a little extra time off? Stay 2 nights at our regular rates, then come a night early or stay a day longer for free. Enjoy all of the amenities HCEL has to offer; personalized horsemanship and riding activities for all skill levels, relaxing time by or in the pool, hiking and or biking through the beautiful Hill Countryside, or just decompressing in our peaceful, nature-filled environment.
How to Book

Look at the floor plans of each accommodation and choose what works best for you. Click on the Book Online button below your accommodation’s description, follow the prompts on our booking system, and book your room. IN THE SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS FIELD, IDENTIFY YOUR PARTY AS A TEJAS TRAILS CACTUS ROSE PARTICIPANT, FAMILY MEMBER, OR SUPPORT PERSON, and tell us which Runner’s Special you have chosen. You will receive an automated email Confirmation that quotes you our regular rates for your stay, BUT I, (Dianne), will go into the system and apply your chosen Runner’s Discount, and email you a corrected Reservation Confirmation.
