PRIVATE CABIN RATES AND POLICIES

Rates are per night. 12% Hotel Tax is added to all lodging rates.

A 2-night minimum stay is required throughout the year, except for Thanksgiving Week, (Nov. 26-30, 2019) and Spring Break, (March 9-21, 2020), when a 3-night minimum stay is required.

What is included in your a la carte lodging rate:
All a la carte lodging rates include breakfast foods stocked in your cabin or suite, use of our swimming pool and Hot Tub Under the Stars, access fee to enter Hill Country State Natural Area through our private entrance and use of its 40 miles of trails, and use of all of our ranch pastures, trails, and facilities for horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, and birding.

When you make an a la carte reservation, you are obligated only for payment of the lodging portion of your stay, according to our A La Carte Reservation Cancellation Policy.  A La Carte Reservations allow us to customize a party's stay to their needs and preferences. It also allows guests to customize and economize their stay by requesting only those amenities or services that they prefer.

2 Adults (Minimum Rate for this Accommodation) - $270.00 per night.


Additional Adults- Up to a Maximum of 3 Additional - Add $95 per additional Adult per night


1 Adult and up to 2 Children ages 5 to 18 - $270.00 per night.


2 Adults and 1 Child ages 5 to 18 - $322.00 per night


Additional Children ages 5 to 18 - Up to a Maximum of 4 total - Add $52 per additional Child per night.


Children ages 4 and under stay free


You may add these services and amenities to your A La Carte Reservation: Additional meals: Lunch $20, ($10 for children 12 and under), and dinner $45, ($20 for children 12 and under), with complimentary beer or wine for adults are available at our ranch house dining room with 24 hours advance reservation, except on Sundays when our kitchen is closed. You are welcome to bring and/ or prepare food in the fully equipped kitchen of your accommodation, or you may visit one of the numerous excellent restaurants in nearby Bandera. Catering for group meals is available upon request.

Trail Rides, and Lessons: May be added to your stay before or after you arrive at the ranch, on a day-by day basis, per the rates published on this website. We will ask you for your tentative plans when you make your reservation, but you may change your plans after your arrival, by 5PM of the evening before each following day's activities, for no fee.

Whole Horsemanship Clinics may be added to your stay for the dates published on this website, at the time you make your reservation.

A La Carte Reservation Cancellation Policy. We will record your credit card information at the time of taking your reservation, and hold it on file. However, we do not charge a deposit for parties occupying fewer than 3 accommodations. If you come as planned, you  may use any payment method you choose upon check-out. If you cancel before your arrival date, the following policy applies:

  1. If stay is canceled between 30 and 15 days prior to date of arrival,
    Reserving Party will be charged 50% of the lodging fees for the whole stay.
  2. If stay is canceled 14 or fewer days prior to date of arrival, Reserving
    Party will be charged 100% of lodging fees for the whole stay.

If notice of cancellation is given to Hill Country Equestrian Lodge, (HCEL) at least 48 hours prior to arrival date, and there are extenuating circumstances, HCEL will issue a written credit for the same amount as the charge to the Reserving Party, which may be used as a credit for lodging charges at HCEL within 1 year after the original arrival date, certain holidays excluded.
